From the CT scan to the permanent crown: what each step is for.
The first step is a CT scan, which shows the bone volume and where the nerves run.
A surgical guide is then made and the implant is placed in one session. A temporary tooth can be fitted the same day.
Integration with the bone usually takes three to six months, after which the permanent crown is fitted.
